Hmm action scenes were enjoyable albeit unrealistic. A note to prove I don’t hate all new content - I found parts of Camp Cretaceous enjoyable, certainly better than the JW movies.Īs to JPIII itself. JW movies garbage cash grabs full of corporate advertising that either copy and paste nostalgia designs or create new monsters that barely resemble dinosaurs. JPIiI is an unrealistic movie with dinosaurs. I basically cannot watch the JW movies as they make me feel brain dead. It’s bette than any of thr JW movies, meaning…I can watch it. I personally wish they would have retconned the whole "evolution" thing and simply said that the feathered raptors and the toothed pteranodon we're both created alongside the Spino and other new species A closer look shows the T-Rex cage on the deck and broken open, so it was clearly the Rex that killed the crew, but how did it manage to get it's head through a small door, bite down on a man perfectly severing his hands so they stay holding the wheel, not even turning it off course? I could say the same for TLW because the boat has an entirely massacred crew, including a man's hands still attached to the wheel in an enclosed section that's otherwise undamaged. I just wish it was a bit more organized and no plot holes. Again, Spino wouldn't slash a tarp and remove the boat crew with such precision. The torn tarp implies something came at them from the air. It was moving, rather fast, and if the Spino went for them it would have either stopped the boat or sunk the boat. The Spinosaurus couldn't have got them because the boat wouldn't have remained in tact. Also, Alan dreamt of a male raptor that he'd never seen, if he was having a nightmare it should have been a darker brown female with no quills.Ĥ: the boat: JP3 implies that the Pteranodon we're locked in the cage, but the boat is torn in the fog and the crew missing. It made a great new super predator, but again, they don't really go to into it's background and it's known it's a piscivore so idk why it's so far inland to begin with.ģ) The raptors: first, why are they so different? The In-Universe answer was that they "evolved" which is absolute BS, 4 years isn't enough time for the Velociraptors as a species to undergo such drastic physical changes, even if these are the offspring of the JP2 ones. We do see a human skull in the cage, how did that get there?Ģ) Spinosaurus: it was inaccurate but in all fairness they didn't have full knowledge of the animal at that time, missing the majority of the skeleton if I recall. They don't have teeth, and we also saw a free flying Pteranodon without teeth at the end of TLW, so it's implied these were made at a different time and deliberately kept caged, but it doesn't actually elaborate on any of it. It, like The Lost World, had some plot errors that felt off:ġ) Pteranodon, with teeth, in the bird cage. I love it, but it's also my least favorite of the original trilogy.
